The Iraq Stock Exchange's General Assembly held its AGM at the Baghdad Hotel on May 4, 2019. The meeting was headed by Mr. Thair Adnan Hashim, Chairman of the ISX's Board of Governors, in the presence of the Iraq Securities Commission's Chairman, observers from the ISC, the ISX's CEO, managing directors of 35 ISX-authorized brokerage companies, representatives of the Farkad Al-Salman Audit and Comptrolling Company for being the ISX's auditor of accounts, and the legal consultant of the Exchange. The General Assembly approved the Board of Governors' report for 2018, the financial statements for the fiscal year ended Dec 31, 2018, the auditor's report, and the Board of Governors' plans for 2019, among other issues on its agenda.
